As the holy month of Ramadan approaches, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced changes to Salik toll rates, parking schedules, and Dubai Metro operating hours to accommodate residents and visitors during this special time.
Dubai Metro Timings During Ramadan
Both the Red and Green lines of the Dubai Metro will follow adjusted schedules:
- Monday to Thursday & Saturday: 5:00 AM to 12:00 Midnight
- Friday: 5:00 AM to 1:00 AM
- Sunday: 8:00 AM to 12:00 Midnight

Paid Public Parking Hours
Public parking across Dubai will operate in two time slots from Monday to Saturday:
- Morning Period: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Evening Period: 8:00 PM – 12:00 Midnight
- Free Parking: Between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM, as well as the entire day on Sundays.
- Multi-level parking buildings will remain operational 24/7.
Salik Toll Gate Tariff During Ramadan
- Weekday Peak Hours (Monday – Saturday): Dh6 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Weekday Off-Peak Hours: Dh4 from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM
- Free Toll: Between 2:00 AM and 7:00 AM (Monday – Saturday)
- Sundays During Ramadan: Dh4 throughout the day (7:00 AM – 2:00 AM), free from 2:00 AM – 7:00 AM

Monday to Saturday: 6:00 AM – 1:00 AM
Sunday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 AM

RTA encourages commuters to stay updated on Dubai public buses and marine transport timings through the S’hail app or the official RTA website. Customer service and happiness centre hours have also been revised and can be found online.
