To celebrate its 15th anniversary the special LEGO themed Dubai Metro has given its trains a playful makeover that are sure to brighten your ride.
Throughout September, you can hop on the LEGO train, which is decked out with cute decorations, beloved LEGO characters, and those iconic bricks we all know and love. And it’s not just the trains getting a facelift—Mall of the Emirates Metro Station has a fresh look too.

As part of the celebrations, you can also get your hands on a special edition nol card, a cool keepsake you can top up and use forever. Dubai Metro is partnering with LEGO, LEGOLAND Dubai Resort, Igloo, and the Emirates Post Group to bring you fun giveaways and goodies all month long.
If you’re one of the lucky people born on September 9—known as “Dubai Metro babies”—you’ve been invited to LEGOLAND for a special party, complete with a scholarship. For everyone else, there’s still plenty of fun to be had. Igloo handed out ice cream shaped like Metro trains at select stations, and some lucky commuters found a code in their ice cream wrapper for a chance to win one of 5,000 nol Terhaal discount cards.
To top it off, Emirates Post has released four limited-edition postage stamps to commemorate the anniversary, perfect for collectors.
